KPEF method

Understand before you decide.

The need, the response, the evidence and the use: the four presentation stages for KMS products.

Why this SaaS exists

HumanWork Advantage starts with a practical question: in the work you actually do, which tasks can AI handle, which require your contribution, and which developments should you follow?

KMS connects a task reference to your own time allocation and makes the supporting material for each assessment accessible. The aim is to help you decide where to experiment, where to deepen your practice and what to monitor.

1. The problem

A job title does not describe someone’s week. Two people in the same occupational family may spend very different amounts of time preparing, executing, communicating and checking their work.

The product addresses the need to understand AI capabilities at task level, taking account of the time involved and the conditions in which a capability was observed.

2. Current solutions

To prepare this reflection, you can combine an activity list, a time log, public information about AI tools and discussions with your team. A supervised experiment can then help assess a particular task.

These approaches remain useful. HumanWork Advantage provides a shared structure for organising this information and keeping track of it over time.

3. What current solutions do not do

General information about a tool does not, by itself, identify the share of your week it affects. You still need to connect the capability to a task, examine the source and its limitations, and account for your own constraints.

The product brings these elements together in a personal task map. This comparison concerns the needs addressed; it is not an exhaustive study of competing products.

4. Our SaaS solution

Select your occupational family and adjust the time spent on each task. Reference percentages provide a starting point; your declared time always determines the result.

The output distinguishes automatable, augmentable and protected zones, alongside time whose assessment is still under consolidation. Displayed action suggestions and thresholds rely only on documented assessments.

5. Why our solution is better

For this particular need, the value of the workflow lies in connecting your declared time, a task-level view, accessible explanations and monitoring of changes.

Undocumented time remains visible and no overall index is shown while coverage of your time is incomplete. These are product design choices; measured superiority over other tools has not been established.

6. Defensible competitive advantage

The intended differentiation rests on maintaining the task reference, preserving assessment provenance and keeping a history of thresholds relevant to your map.

This continuing documentation work is the foundation to develop. The product claims neither exclusive access to public sources nor an already demonstrated competitive barrier.

7. Why customers would pay

Two free diagnostics are included per confirmed KMS account, with no renewal of this allowance. An active Premium subscription is required from the third diagnostic. A successful diagnostic uses one allowance; rereading an existing result or retrying the same interrupted request does not use another. Premium serves another purpose: returning to your saved map, following task evidence status and consulting crossings that affect your scope.

The planned offer is 9.99 USD per month. Availability is shown in your account. Monitoring is available in the dashboard; automatic emails are not included at launch.

8. Economic value

The intended value is to help you focus your tool experiments, learning efforts and attention on tasks that need careful review.

No time saving, additional income or subscription return is presented as established. The benefit depends on your context, your experiments and the results you observe.

9. Trust level

The result uses your declared time and the catalogue’s documented assessments. Weighting follows a public calculation rule; capability assessments depend on the scope and limitations of their sources.

An assessment under consolidation receives no current level. The protected zone describes a central human contribution within the documented scope and may change. The tool guides your decisions; it measures neither your personal value nor your professional future.

Method, scale and calculation

10. Evidence

Every published level includes its explanation, an accessible source, the source date and the assessment date. The complete example below uses this same public catalogue.

A source supporting one task does not establish the effectiveness of the product as a whole. Partial or conflicting material remains identified and is not used to manufacture a complete result.

Public catalogue status

8 out of 223 tasks have a published assessment. The other 215 have limited evidence status. This count concerns tasks, not the percentage of your time.

11. What our product does not promise

No individual outcome, productivity gain or threshold crossing timetable is guaranteed. The product does not draw conclusions about the future of a job and does not replace experimentation under your working conditions.

An administrator documents the findings. The MVP does not automatically detect changes on the Internet. A subscription guarantees neither a new assessment within a given period nor a future crossing.

12. Why KMS Research and Innovation Lab

KMS Research and Innovation Lab LLC develops HumanWork Advantage as part of its work on human contribution in the AI era: making a complex question understandable, explaining the method and preserving a record of its limitations.

The presentation follows the KMS Product Excellence Framework: explain the need, the proposed response, available evidence and conditions of use. Credibility grows through these accessible elements and their updates.

13. Use cases

Review your week

Identify the tasks you actually spend time on and see which part of the map is documented.

Prepare a supervised experiment

Examine a documented task, read its limitations and agree with your team on an experiment suited to your context.

Guide your learning

Use supported suggestions to consider which practices to strengthen, then follow changes through your saved map.

14. Complete example

Reading example, not a personal result: the times below are reference values. Assessments come from the current public catalogue. No user allocation or AI level is invented.

With Premium, the saved map supports monitoring of these tasks’ evidence status and recorded crossings. This example assumes no future crossing.

15. What you will receive

A readable task map

Your time allocation, documented zones and the share under consolidation. An overall index only when all your time is covered.

Supported suggestions

Available tasks, thresholds and action suggestions, with access to sources and dates.

Monitoring in your account

With Premium: your latest saved map, evidence status and a history of crossings within your scope.

16. Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account for the diagnostic?

Yes. Two free diagnostics are included per confirmed KMS account, with no renewal of this allowance. An active Premium subscription is required from the third diagnostic. A successful diagnostic uses one allowance; rereading an existing result or retrying the same interrupted request does not use another. Your account keeps this counter and lets you reopen your latest result.

Why do some tasks have no displayed level?

Their supporting material is insufficient, partial or under review. Tasks remain present and your time remains included in the share under consolidation, without receiving a level.

Can I change the suggested time allocation?

Yes. Adjust each percentage to your actual activity, totalling 100%. A task you do not perform can receive 0%. Your declaration takes precedence over reference values.

What if a task is missing?

Flag it in the diagnostic. No invented task will be added to the reference, and calculation for that declaration will be paused to avoid producing a misleading map.

What does Premium include?

Your latest saved map, the evidence status of monitored tasks and the history of crossings affecting your scope. Changes are available in the dashboard. Automatic emails are not included at launch.

How do I stop my subscription?

Subscription management is available in your account. Stopping renewal preserves Premium until the end of the paid period, after which access returns to the free tier. The refund policy is linked in the footer.
