Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KMS Research and Innovation Lab LLC ("KMS", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information in connection with our website, SaaS products and digital services.

1. Information we may collect

• contact information you choose to provide, such as name and email address;
• account, subscription and transaction identifiers needed to provide paid access;
• technical information such as browser, device, request logs and security events;
• product-usage events used to operate, secure and improve KMS services;
• content you voluntarily submit to a KMS tool for processing.

2. HumanWork Proof document processing

HumanWork Proof supports pasted text and selected file uploads. A file may be transmitted to a KMS extraction service only to obtain usable text. The source file is not intended to be persistently stored by that extraction flow. The extracted text is analyzed to generate the requested descriptive indicators. HumanWork Proof is designed so that the analytical engine does not require a generative AI model to score the document.

You should not upload confidential, regulated, sensitive or third-party content unless you have authority to process it and the service is appropriate for that purpose.

3. Payments

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment-card, bank and billing information under its own privacy and security practices. KMS does not store full payment-card numbers. We may receive Stripe customer, checkout, subscription and transaction identifiers needed to activate and manage Premium access.

4. Cookies and access tokens

KMS may use essential cookies or similar browser storage to maintain language preferences, secure sessions and paid entitlements. HumanWork Proof Premium may use a signed HttpOnly entitlement cookie after Stripe confirms an eligible subscription. These controls are used to provide and protect the service, not to sell personal information.

5. How we use information

We may process information to:

• provide, secure and maintain KMS services;
• process subscriptions and manage access;
• respond to support, refund and account requests;
• detect misuse, security incidents and technical failures;
• improve reliability, usability and product quality;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

6. Service providers

We may use carefully selected service providers for hosting, database services, payment processing, email, observability, security and other infrastructure necessary to operate KMS services. They receive information only as needed for the services they provide and are subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.

7. Data retention

Retention depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed. We seek to retain operational, support, billing and security records only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legitimate business needs. Product-specific flows may use shorter retention or no persistent storage for submitted content.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service, including access controls, encrypted transport, scoped credentials and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or other restrictions concerning personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

10. Children

KMS services are not directed to children under 13. If a product is used in an educational context involving minors, the responsible adult or institution must ensure appropriate authorization, supervision and compliance with applicable law.
